All Individual Water Wells that are drilled in Nicholas County must have a permit, be inspected by a Nicholas County Health Department Sanitarian, and be drilled by a Certified Well Driller. You can find a list of Certified Well Drillers by clicking here.

Permits and Fees

 To receive a permit to install a Water Well you need to fill out an
Application for a Permit to Construct, Modify, or Abandon a Water Well (SW256) and submit it to the
Nicholas County Health Department, along with the $100.00 fee.
