All septic systems being installed or modified in Nicholas County need to be permitted, installed by a Certified Septic Installer, approved and inspected by a Sanitarian from the Nicholas County Health Department.

Permits and Fees

If you are planning to have a septic installed you will need to fill out a Form SS-182A, complete a Septic System Precautions Acknowledgment, and submit them to the Nicholas County Health Department.
